Hi, my name is Dominik Rüegg, also known as Drü Egg. After completing my apprenticeship as a gardener, I studied 2D animation in Luzern. Since 2013 I have lived and worked in St.Gallen as a freelance Illustrator, animator and artist. My Illustrations originate mostly spontaneously, without previous sketches, and on site. My Inspiration stems from daily impressions of the surroundings where I live and where I travel. The illustrations I produce are a combination of landscapes and characters, drawn from imagery, emotions and impressions. I am interested in the viewer creating their own stories from looking at my illustrations.
